1. Local warranty period
Garmin products purchased directly from Techinnovators (Pvt) Ltd. or through a Sri Lankan sales channel recognized by Techinnovators carry a one-year local warranty from the invoice date. The one-year period applies across the Garmin product categories supplied locally by Techinnovators.
2. Warranty coverage
The warranty covers eligible defects in materials or workmanship arising during normal use and confirmed through inspection. Warranty eligibility and the appropriate remedy are determined after Techinnovators verifies the product, invoice and reported fault.
3. Local claim requirements
Customers must provide the original invoice or another invoice record accepted by Techinnovators. Techinnovators may also request the product serial number, a description of the fault, product images or other information reasonably required to assess the claim.
4. What is not covered
The warranty does not cover physical or accidental damage, or a fault that is not attributable to a defect in materials or workmanship arising during normal use. Inspection is required before coverage is confirmed.
5. Repair, replacement or refund
After inspection, an eligible warranty fault may be addressed through repair or replacement as determined by Techinnovators. If an eligible fault cannot be repaired or replaced, a refund may be provided, subject to applicable law and verification of the original purchase.
6. Products purchased outside Sri Lanka
Garmin products purchased outside Sri Lanka or personally brought into Sri Lanka are not automatically eligible for local warranty support. Techinnovators may provide warranty assessment and warranty service after verifying the product, serial number, purchase information, warranty eligibility and documentation reasonably required to establish that the product was lawfully brought into Sri Lanka.
Overseas-purchased products may require international shipment, customs processing, regulatory approvals or other administrative procedures. The customer is responsible for any applicable courier, insurance, customs, import/export, tax, Ministry of Defence, regulatory approval or other government charges required for the warranty process.
Techinnovators will inform the customer of known external charges before proceeding where reasonably possible. Parts and labour treatment will be determined according to the product's verified warranty eligibility. External charges are not included in the product warranty.
Products without sufficient supporting documentation, or products that do not satisfy applicable legal or warranty requirements, may be refused local warranty service and may need to be returned to the original country or place of purchase.
7. Service location and timing
Customers may visit Techinnovators at No. 2, 13th Lane, Colpetty, Colombo 3, Sri Lanka during the working hours shown on this website. Advance contact is not required.
Service time depends on inspection, warranty verification, parts availability and any required external processing. Techinnovators does not guarantee a fixed completion period and will provide updates when information becomes available.
8. Consumer rights
Nothing in this warranty information excludes or limits rights available under applicable Sri Lankan consumer law.
